It’s a Video!

At the end of last year I shared with you all a post about one of my greatest fears…have a read here to get up to speed.

This year is the year to step forward & conquer this fear. All signs were pointing to “YES, you can do this hit the record button.” I was feeling super supported last week as I headed out into the garden with my laptop to just give it a go.

It wasn’t easy. There was a lot of emotion running through me: frustration, anger, nerves & F bombs, mixed with joy, happiness & pride.

The quality isn’t the best. I have much to learn with creating & editing video’s but at least it’s a start. I have a feeling some technical support will be presenting itself in the very near future from some filming guru’s out there. (I would more than welcome a gift of a GoPro 😉 haha)

Without further a do I present to you ‘My First Video.’ It’s a funny snippet out take that just happened in between the ‘serious’ recording that was going on. Raw, unedited, nothing fancy. Just me in my garden HAVING SOME FUN!

Personal Theme for Sweet 16

Welcome to the year being heralded “Sweet 16.” Quite lovely don’t you think? This year is also a universal 9-year for the planet. It’s all about completion for the next 12 months, as the cycle will reset to a 1 year in 2017.

Every year I set a theme or a collective of soul selected words as a focus. This year’s theme started coming through fairly early. In my last post (here) I highlighted how 2015 had wrapped up a month earlier than the usual calendar year. It seemed natural I started intuiting my theme for 2016 around this time as well.

How do I find my theme?

Usually I sit in meditation & sink into my heart space asking the question –

What will be my theme for the upcoming year?

With the accelerated energy I was experiencing during November my key words (or theme) were showing up in repetitive patterns without the dedicated meditation. Just being present & tuned in as I went about my day left me open to receiving at any time. That is just what happened.

The word ‘patience’ was constantly being whispered to me. It kept popping into my head all over the place. Especially when I was in business planning mode. In nearly every personal oracle card reading the ‘patience’ card was presenting.

“Oh there it is again the patience card” I’d say.

There was no ignoring this word. Every time it came up there was that undeniable tingle & flutter that I know is my Soul confirming I need to pay attention to this.

For an Aries, A-type, yang junkie and 8-path learning some patience will be good for me.

Slow it down – being the story of my life!

Most of the time I want everything now, I just can’t wait. If I get a hot idea I’m all over it taking action & making it happen. When the entrepreneur in me kicks in it’s hard to stop her.

In the world of manifesting I totally get things don’t happen instantly. (Occasionally they show up quicker than expected granted) I do possess some degree of patience when working with spirit, as I know I have to surrender my control.

This is what I need to pull through to all aspects of life, surrender control & be patient. Especially when other people are involved in the plan. We are all on our own time scale. I’m getting much better at not reacting instantly & quietly sitting a while to process before responding (over night is even better). Not all the time mind 😉 but it’s improving.

More confirmation for patience came through whilst I was writing this post. A family of ants has moved into my desk space. Going about their business trotting around my space doing what ants do. With no obvious reason for them to be here (no food or the like) I grabbed for my spirit animal book (of course!!).

What is the underlying message for an ant?

“Be patient with yourself, those around you, and with any work projects in which you’re involved.” (S. Farmer, 2012, page 36)

There is also a strong message with the ant to ‘complete’ projects. Perfect for the year of completion. I do have a habit of starting things, doing all the fun stuff & then when it gets boring, which is usually at the end, I don’t quite finish. I’ve had some really hot ideas cooking for the last six months that will help step up my game but I need to see them through. Trust it will all work out if I just try & keep going. The outcome will no doubt be unexpected but for the best. Thanks ants.

The second part of my theme this year is “JOY.”

What will bring me the most joy?

To live for joy first will be wonderful I feel. Making decisions based on the joy scale will be interesting. I may end up turning opportunities down that might bring me more financial security but won’t fill me with joy during the process. Why slog it out & be unhappy just to make more money (which I’d probably blow trying to cheer myself up afterward).

Who knows what will come up with this one? It’s super exciting though the desire for a more joyful life.

We will see how this sweet year of patience & joy takes me.

Magical Sedona

It’s usual this ‘time of year’ with, as I write three days left of it, to reflect back & acknowledge what has been.

Except right here right now I’m just not feeling the love to do so. Probably because I energetically wrapped up 2015 over a month ago & a review post doesn’t seem relevant anymore. The moment has passed.

I will say though 2015 has been extremely enjoyable, a huge year of expansion & one to remember for so many positive reasons.

The next chapter has begun. I’ve stepped forward into a fresh new-uplifted energy that is beyond the restrictions or linear perceptions of ‘human’ time. Arriving in a ‘New Year’ before the calendar has ticked over.

The end of November brought about huge personal shifts, the biggest yet. Challenges & opportunities to heal arose telling me to get things sorted. Loose ends were tied, old issues resolved with love & everything fell into place really quickly. A welcomed cleansing wave washing away the rough to create a smooth new surface to start a new from.

“I was settled & content.”

This year-end early closure was required as December saw me leaving on a grand adventure. What would be happening next for me needed my full-undivided focus.

Those of you who follow my work here are probably thinking ‘where did she go this time?’ as I do have a habit of being a serial traveller. Never one to do things by halves either I took myself off to Sedona, Arizona, USA.

Many synchronicities lead me to travel half way around the globe right before the festive season. The pull so great I couldn’t ignore it & I’m glad I didn’t.

It was an epic thirty-six hour trip (involving cars, three planes & a shuttle bus) from leaving my house in Perth, Western Australia to arriving at the hotel in Sedona. Driving into town at sunset with every tree & building covered in fairy lights was magical – I was literally in the land of sparkle.

Waking to 360-degree views of the stunning red rocks behind vibrant blue skies was breath taking. Of course I had expectations of this spiritual oasis! These were exceeded above & beyond, no disappointments.

For a sensitive person being in Sedona I finally felt ‘plugged in.’ It could have easily gone the other way & whacked me out. The jet lag actually helped ground me, as I needed to be very conscious of what I was doing being in a new place with every sense heightened.

“I moved in slow motion.”

This was so appropriate & complimentary to the vibration of the land that was super accelerated. Just as we say in Pranayama breathing exercises, “the slower you go, the better.”

My wish for Sedona was to ‘open my heart to receive.’ Leading up to this trip I was ‘so done’ & needed a rest. Being a perpetual over giver I had excelled this year by never giving myself enough time to truly fill up properly. I’d fill my cup only enough to half empty it again immediately. Sedona was my time to recharge to full wattage. Time to be offline & work on myself.

To sum up Sedona, as briefly as I can, it is:

“Energy Amplified.“

For me personally being in this vortex hot spot I felt peaceful, I could breathe again; I just wanted to be outside soaking up as much life force energy from the land. Just ‘being’ there my wish was fulfilled. It was like coming up to take the first lung full of air after swimming underwater.

In the short week I had in Sedona I’ve never experienced such acceleration of my being. The term I was introduced to – ‘The Sedona Effect’ works beautifully. Sedona heals on a Soul level & quickly. What I felt is beyond the physical, way out past it. The veils between dimensions are thin there (just like the air being so high up!). I was open to expansion & surrendered all control, just letting it be.

A major observation I had of the Sedona Effect was my psychic senses went off the scale. I reached states of awareness that usually aren’t achieved without ‘being in the zone’ in a deep meditation.

During a sacred journey at a vortex site with a local healer I opened my eyes after just a short meditation to see what I usually only see with my ‘inner vision’ & eyes closed. However my eyes were open.

“Wow does not come close.”

Was this waking up & remembering on a new level? I felt a connection like I’ve never experienced before. ‘Thank you Universe.’ It’s hard to transcribe into words what it’s like bringing the inner vision into the outer reality except pure love. I didn’t want to leave & just stay there to soak it in. Full confirmation to trust I’m going the right way with all of this work. The invisible was now visible to me, what an honor to receive!

The most amazing gift was the connection stayed. The amplified effect was integrating. It became normal without being intrusive or confusing. Grounding the frequency never felt so simple. Sedona weaving her magic again 😉

After five days of adventuring into Sedona’s core there was even more love to come & connections to be made. The experience was just getting better. It was time to start the Energy Mastery Retreat with Lee Harris & his team…

Big Shifts in September

What a weekend hey? Who rode the huge cosmic wave that whooshed over us the past four days? The whole month of September I’ve felt the energy start to build. It’s been huge.

Reflecting back over the past month I can see how the slow start to September was gifted to me in preparation for this weekend. The first two weeks were all about me, taking care of myself, clearing out, making plans & having my own healing sessions.

Mercury went into retrograde seventeen days in. I felt confident I had done my work during the pre-shadow period carefully observing what was coming up for me. Watching what I say & how I communicate took centre stage. My world became very ‘on a need to know basis.’

This has been very interesting to observe. I was keeping my personal goings on close to my chest, only sharing when necessary to a select few. There are projects & plans I wish to keep sacred, just for now, only for me until the retro is over. Everything is so up for change, another lesson during Mercury, I really wish to let my seeds grow privately.

I could see others doing the same, keeping things close but sharing with a few. This helps builds the strength around a project & gives us all time to get excited too before it goes viral. It’s such a special time in the early stages of a project keeping it sacred, just like a pregnancy. Allowing it time to grown & gather strength.

It’s crazy though when word does get out how quickly it can escalate. That’s the power of Mercury behind communications. It invites us to check in with what we are saying. Are we sharing for the greater good or is it gossip? Stop & think before you speak. Is it your news to share?

The past eleven days have been high speed with plenty of ups & downs. My physical body was definitely going through some shifts energetically that were showing up in aching muscles, mood swings, poor food choices & disrupted sleep.

In my yoga practice I was just miserable as I literally dragged myself through each posture. Every muscle hurt, my lungs felt like they couldn’t take in enough air & it felt like a black cloud was raining down on me. It was all good though. I didn’t attach to what was happening I accepted the physical challenges were doing what they were supposed to. Shifting & clearing.

The pace certainly picked up again after Equinox on Wednesday 23^rd September. Meditating out in the garden under a beautiful blue sky was divine. It was the perfect time to conduct a sacred ceremony to see in the new cycle. Cleansing my house with Illuminator incense from Resonant Aromatics, giving myself an oracle card reading & of course playing my crystal-singing bowl.

I found myself out & about in many social situations following Equinox & it was tapping me out. My focus was all over the place, jumping from one conversation to the next, feeling jittery on par with a coffee overload. Was I getting ADHA?! Time to pull back & slow it down. These were signs I needed to be in my own space. My body was already reacting stepping in to help pull me up with digestive issues, migraine symptoms & lethargy. I changed my weekend plans to reduce overload & some well needed universal assistance presented just at the right time to help further. Thank you xx

Time to rest.

With two full days away from my yoga teaching duties I was able to be at home putting my focus into areas I have been neglecting.

Bringing back the balance.

The juicer was dusted down & put to work. What I needed most is good nutrition to help ease the digestive up sets & shift through what needs to be cleared. I find juicing an easy way to get what I need in me quickly.

My water intake has been crazy. I can’t get enough magnesium-salted water at the moment. The more I drink the better I start to feel, again a great energetic flushing tool as well as a physical one. Listening to my body & giving it what it is asking for is working.

Getting some major meditation in was top priority too. Stillness to connect & feel into what is going on was required. On Friday & Saturday I let my Sadhana slip right when I needed it the most.

Not pushing too hard is something I struggle with. Especially the sacred days I have all day at home to focus on writing & creating. Acknowledging when I need to rest is important. If the couch is calling then I need to honour that & I have been. There’s no point plugging away on a creative project when really I should be resting up. Gathering strength & focus so I’m pumped up & back on form. (I watched ‘Indecent Proposal’ on Saturday what a classic old movie!)

Taking time out for a day is serving me well. With the Super Full Moon & total Solar Eclipse it’s been the best time for stepping out of the mainstream. Writing this on Monday afternoon I’m feeling so much better. I’m out the other side of my big shift focused & on form. The recent planetary activity & solar flares are giving me energy now I have cared for myself.
