Full Moon – Fresh Starts and Psychic Awareness

{FULL MOON} What a sensational start to this year. Are you feeling it? The first Full Moon in Cancer rises at 6:33pm WA time tonight.

I’ve loved the 2017 energy so far. It’s been a gentle and graceful transition into the new cycle bringing a slower pace to life. Yes there’s still lot’s to do keeping me busy but everything is flowing. I’m creating space as my personal theme this year. Already this intention is working! There seems to be more hours in the day with room to spare. Projects and task are getting completed easily. Some things are not getting finished. When this happens I’m not stressed about it. I simply accept that there is always tomorrow or it’s not quite the right time.

Tonight’s Full Moon has cracked open our psychic senses bigger and stronger than ever before. Pay attention to any messages, gut feelings, visions or knowing then take action from them. We are all being pushed to start living more intuitively, everyone is more than capable and gifted so no excuses. No more ignoring this woo woo stuff. The quicker you get on board the less time you’ll spend missing out! You will know what I mean once you get your psychic on.

Following your inner-tutor’s guidance will pull you onto track as to where you need to be heading. Most of all life will be fun, abundant, intriguing and joyful. We are clear as glass at present, no heaviness or fog to deal with. There is a new reshaped lightness to our beings. Take advantage of this and tune into your emotions and feelings. Let’s not let the messy crazy cakes side get the better of us this year. When it shows up, stop it in its tracks and say “not today thank you.” Swing back into the light and not get pulled under for too long.

Life purpose is singing out louder, brighter and in our faces. Now is the best time to get on track with life purpose projects. You know what is not working for you or needs changing. Hopefully you made steps to let go of these in late 2016. The theme for 2017 is new beginnings and stepping into our power. I just saw an image of a person shrugging off a really heavy coat that has been keeping them down and heavy. Now they can move freely, stretch their arms wide open to receive the amazing abundance that is already available to all of us. We just need to embrace it and be open to receive.

Have you had some really big ideas over the past two weeks? Make sure you are noting everything down and even taking them into planning stages already. Inspiration and creativity are on fire. There is a whole new nine-year cycle ahead, a vast amount of time and space to fill up with doing something freaking amazing. I’m picking up that the excuses have run their course. No one is listening to them anymore anyway, even you. Let’s just give it all a go and see what happens. Take risks and chances by putting yourself out there. Nothing is ever lost or a waste. You will always learn something along the way.

Number one here is to make sure you are using your talents to maximize you chances for success. If you are good at something, do it! Do not let you skills go to waste or unnoticed as to get notice you should be using them. This is the essence of life purpose and being on your Soul path. When you live life this way you will feel nourished and full beyond belief.

Once you recognize what you love doing and start to use you gifts opportunities will start showing up so you can use them. Especially totally random ones which personally are my favourite. Lay out all your options, as there will be many, and see which one gets you revved up and excited.

Remember small keys can open big doors. Sometimes volunteering your time or skills for a free event or project can get you noticed on a much wider scale. Assess all offerings that come up and see a bigger picture. Networking adds to your web of contacts. Someone might just know someone else who needs someone just like you.

Crystal Cleanse

Don’t forget to put your crystals out for cleansing and charging, their first of the year too. Even if you can’t get them in direct moonlight just set them near a window or under the porch with the intention that the moon magic will reach them.

Enjoy Full Moon tonight! I’ll be certainly putting my skills to use leading a local Mindful Yin class. Excited that this regular class has fallen on Moon night so we can meditate moon-style 😉

Super Full Moon in Taurus – Get Passionate

For the first time in 68 years the moon is at it’s closest to earth tonight. This is a Super Full Moon and a half it’s our second in a row, the middle child of a trilogy. The final Super Full Moon occurs in December to close the year. Depending where you are in the world the time will vary but for those of us in Western Australia the moon will be at it’s fullest at 9:54pm tonight (Monday 14^th November).

All weekend the vibration has been accumulating since Friday’s 11/11- gateway cast light onto our life purpose and passions. Did you feel the pull to get on task and do more of what you love? If you follow your hearts guidance the magic will start to show up in mind-blowing ways. Last months Super Full Moon I wrote about being in gratitude for taking action on my dreams and pulling them into reality over the past six months. (Need a recap? Click here.)

Tonight’s Super Full Moon carries on pushing us to live our loves. Doing things that bring us joy doesn’t have to be reserved as a special treat or reward. Do things you love every single day! No one wants to look back at their life with regrets wishing that you’d spent more time weaving fun into the everyday. Don’t wait for a catastrophe to land to start living. Every day is precious; you never know what is around the corner. Get out there and freaking enjoy yourself. Put lashings of passion, soul-loving activities on your daily menu.

There is nothing selfish at all about a healthy dose of self-love. The knock on effect of each of us being happy and bright will send magnitudes of love into the universe. This will raise our collective vibration on the planet assisting in transmuting any murky darkness. If we are happy and content this will radiate out to the rest of the world. Where’s the selfishness in that? We are all helping each other.

My words above have been inspired this week by a story I have been following for a few years from an incredibly brave, passionate and determined young women. Kirstie Tancock is a living example of never giving up and getting the most out of life no matter what cards you are dealt. Kirstie is a crazy talented pole fitness instructor living with cystic fibrosis who has gone through two double lung transplants in her 27 years.

When Kirstie’s illness worsened stopping her from doing what she loved the most she kept fighting and focusing on her passions. After both her transplants Kirstie was determined to get back to doing what she loved, dancing, and sharing this with others. Even though she had to learn to walk again first before even thinking about jumping on a pole. The photos on her Instagram are testimony to a lady who leads from her heart and does what she loves every day.

Even now in the closing chapters of the story Kirstie is striving to do as much as she can to create more memories. From what I can perceive Kirstie is going to squeeze as much as she can out of the time she has left. Kirstie’s light has assisted so many others in similar situations by bringing comfort, humor and a raised awareness for organ donation & CF. The perfect reminder for us all to be in gratitude for everything we have especially our health.

Over the past few months we have cleared out our lives on all levels. Simplifying and stripping back what no longer is necessary. I have found this process very liberating letting go of all that accumulated ‘stuff’ that isn’t filling a purpose anymore, physical and metaphysical alike.

The Super Full Moon energy may be transmitting strongly for you. Often the moon energy can effect us is quite a noticeable way. We can feel over sensitive, out of sorts and physically achy. On the flip size the moon can jazz us up, make us restless and disturb our sleep. Even if we are experiencing heightened energy build up remember you are driving this vehicle. Keep your hands on the controls. Staying grounded, drinking loads of fresh water, resting and honouring what your body needs in the moment is very important. If the moon is kicking your ass acknowledge this and do what you can to stay in your power.

Ride the wave of the awesome Super Full Moon energy and work ‘with’ it. Celebrate all you have achieved so far this year. It’s a great night to tap into spirit’s energy for guidance to get clear on the direction you wish to take next. If you are still a little unclear on your direction meditate under the moon and ask for some assistance.

Our psychic senses are always elevated at this time too. Pay close attention to any visions in your minds eye (your Third Eye Chakra) and also your dreams. We’ve already experienced a whole month of vivid dream states. Spirit speaks to us most clearly when our conscious mind sleeps. There are messages we need to hear. Upon waking or completing a meditation take note of anything you can remember.

Crystal Cleansing Night

It’s the perfect night to get your crystal kids out for a charge up. They may not have ever experiences this kind of moon cleansing before so give them a treat by putting them under the night’s sky tonight.

Celebrating Your Wins

It’s good to feel on top when everything works out how you desired especially when you’ve been breaking your butt over it. Celebrating your wins is important I learned from my business coaching sessions. It’s nice to reward yourself for a job well done, recognizing your talents & appreciating what you do is valued. Especially if, like me, you are self-employed, who’s going to pat you on the back if you don’t do it yourself right?

How you celebrate can take on different forms:

Shout it from the rooftops, ring your bestie, splash it all over social media, anyway to get it out there on what a grand achievement you’ve just pulled off. Let everyone & anyone bask in your joy & happiness. Share the love!

Reward yourself with a gift. Be it small or extravagant. A massage, the eBook you’ve been dying to read, a shiny new crystal or breakfast at your favourite spot.

Sit quietly alone to connect. Tell yourself what a wonderful, empowered & brilliant Soul you are for walking your talk & reaching your goal. Party for one right here, cue solo happy dance.

Simply smile & say well done you.

All of the above!

Celebrate in any way that makes you feel good about your win.

For me I’d always go with numbers 1 or 2. What better to let the world know how great everything is going for me? Especially to confirm externally that taking that leap from secure salaried job to freelancer is working out.

“Everyone that thought I was mad & just ‘playing’ at this healing/yoga/teaching thing well get this it’s all working out brilliant just look at what I did….”

Focus in closely on the sentence above. It’s not flowing from the heart is it? It’s coming from my head, oozing with self-doubt searching for confirmation & I’m basically talking to myself. Putting it out there to validate (to myself) that I’m doing okay. Looking for external gratification from others for a job well done instead of sinking into my heart space & just thanking myself privately.

I don’t need to broadcast it to the world how well I’m doing. Knowing inside that my efforts have paid off is enough. Just as in numbers 3 & 4. It’s nice to keep things sacred, just for me. ‘Knowing’ & ‘acknowledging’ to myself I’ve done well is the highest reward possible. Gratitude toward myself will nourish my Soul, enrich my heart & solar plexus Chakras & bring me joy. This will then radiate outwards. Others will pick up on my success by my presence, the smile on my face & the positive energy I emanate. “Everything must be going really well for you Kat, you’re glowing & always so cheerful” is a comment I often hear. The external will congratulate you without fishing for it 😉

It’s fine to share your wins on social media, don’t get me wrong. I’m slowly starting to get back into it but from a place of love & gratitude, instead of ego & head inflating intentions. Posting to thank the beautiful people who have trusted in me for a healing session, Reiki training or sending kind words of support. It’s awesome to celebrate those kind & loving people who encourage me too. A double celebration!

Another nice (from the heart) reason to share wins in public is you never know who will read them. Someone in the world may well be searching for some inspiration to start their own business or follow their passions. Reading about others out there who are doing what they’d like to do may well be the encouragement they need to take the first leap. Share from the heart to inspire others to discover the greatness within them.

Even number two started to not sit that well with me. Buying something ‘material’ as a reward. More ‘stuff’ to accumulate. Why not make a donation to charity instead? Give a gift to someone else just because (homemade edible treats are perfect). Reward yourself with an afternoon off to walk on the beach & watch the sun set.

What I do now is wait to buy something I’m really lusting after & use this as my reward. (Gives me chance to really decide if it’s a want or a need as well) I’m not a huge spender anymore. Pretty much what I invest in has some sort of healing benefit not just for me but also for others. Like an essential oil, a crystal or card deck I can use in my sessions or share with my partner. That way it will give me that extra push to work hard to get it as more than just me will gain.

Taking the next step

This year is definitely going to be another year of accelerated growth for me I feel. Some days I wonder how I’m going to keep up with the pace & everything I wish to do. Back to my intention of ‘simplicity.’

One of my biggest challenges has been to surrender my control & let life unfold how it should be. Even when there is chaos all around the equal & opposite ‘calm’ is right there next to it. The universe knows what’s it doing & will unfold just how it should be even if this seems like total mayhem to us.

This year, as life is always for me, is about taking action! Way back when I started this adventure I desired to run holistic retreats. I had that idea eighteen months ago & haven’t actioned it. Granted I have been developing my skills, learning a lot in order to be at a place to run such an involved activity. At the end of last year I turned to my Angel Therapy oracle cards for some much needed guidance for the year ahead. I asked the cards ‘what modality should I be focusing my energy on this year?’ Below are the three cards I drew.

Clear as mud hey! I needed a starting point & I knew deep down I had one. Action was needed. I feel my definition of ‘retreat’ was blurred. My original thinking of what a retreat should be was a weekend of pampering, healing, spiritual teaching & yoga. Way too complicated to get organised for a first event. A workshop however is a much ‘simpler’ way to get started. Workshops are still what I would call a ‘retreat’ as people are taking time out of their everyday lives to do something different.

A massive part of my life purpose is to teach. Workshops are a perfect setting to do what I love & use my natural skills to teach a group of like minded people something of interest too us all. I had an idea back in July 2013 to run an introductory workshop all about the Chakras.

The idea stayed in its box until December. Why? Fear was holding me back, fear of not being ready or knowledgeable. A fear no one would turn up or I couldn’t manage it on my own & I needed a team or assistance. The message in my card reading was very clear to overcome this. I just needed to visualise my success. Live like I already have taught a workshop; see it happening again & again. (Just like wrote in Tuesday’s post!)

Keeping myself clear & focused as the third card advises is so important too. When you put yourself out there to the world you are vulnerable, people may attack you or want to knock you down. Staying strong & clear energetically will help. There is a deeper meaning to this card too to remind me after I have taught such an event to disconnect from the energy & cleanse. Workshops are a massive energy exchange I must remember to return to my own energy field once I have shared what was needed.

My fear of not being qualified is one I feel many may have in this situation. I work with my Chakras everyday & in my energy healing sessions. Working with the Chakras consistently should be indication I know enough to teach about them right? There is so much to learn about these energy centres. It’s a subject I’m still learning about too as there are many more Chakras than the main seven. When something new presents that I’ve never come across before I go read up about it. ‘We teach what we need to learn.’ Even more of a reason to get this idea off the ground I feel.

When my business coach asked me to plan my calendar of events the Chakra workshop leapt out at me. This is an event I’m keen to host asap. It is time to take action on this idea.

Now I have! It’s official ‘The Chakras – Introductory two day workshop’ will be taking place on Sunday 16^th & 23^rd February. I decided two days would be beneficial so not to overload everyone in one hit. We learn more efficiently in small doses. When working with energy you never know where it will go & take us who knows the next workshop might be three days.

Not only is this an opportunity for me to share on a subject I’m passionate about I can use all my other skills too. Over the next few weeks I’ll be putting together unique hand out booklets for all the attendees. My design skills will be put to good use & I love nothing more than creating something direct from my own energy.
