Full Moon & Solar Eclipse, the dark rises.

What a beautiful start to 2018 with so much creative soul fire burning, new ideas birthing and all round feel good vibes.

Then came the crash…

Don’t you just love that? Everything is ticking along nicely; expansion is happening effortlessly then contraction shows up. Expansion and contraction of great polarities are what I have experienced in this first month of this powerful New Year.

It takes a lot of energy creating and pulling through ideas. I was riding the wave and enjoying it until I ran dry, then I was forced to stop. Of course looking back I should have slowed down before I crashed but I just loved the vibes & weaving so much magic I kept going. Now I can see how vital resting between power bursts is. Allow the water to settle before creating more waves.

This experience all came around in the lead up to todays beyond strong Full Moon in Leo & Lunar Eclipse. The dark rises to balance the light as the Earth moves between the sun and the moon. It will take place at 9:26 pm tonight in Perth. This blood moon will have a red glow, hence its name blood.

Having had a delightful time over the past three weeks I was shown how good life could be & what I enjoy doing the most. I can certainly credit some of my sparkles to an online course I took called Rebirth by Lee Harris. It gave me the push to have a rebirth and revisit some old ground. One of the talks in the course felt like Lee was talking directly to me especially around the area of designing.

Over the past six months, I have not had the energy or spark to create for other people. I needed every ounce of energy for myself to heal & get strong again. Then two projects came up which lit my fire, and I decided they were the right ones for me to take on. Fear showed up like it does as I haven’t done that type of work for a while. Then I remembered this is something I am good at and once I get out of my way its something I do enjoy.

It was hard to get started just staring at a blank screen for a while. When the juices flowed, I was back in my element. The time was right, and I had the space to honour the projects thoroughly instead of trying to cram them in between other things like I used too. A much better way to work as I have the time to enjoy the projects, not feel under pressure & deliver work that is my best effort. If jobs come up and I do not think I can adequately embrace them, I will turn them down.

I launched some new retreats and workshops in January that received terrific responses. To make room for these new offerings some old offerings started to melt away into the background. It’s the natural cause and effect. I found myself cancelling a few Reiki training courses and pushing others back to later in the year, as it’s just not where I am at right now. There were other commitments I wished to honour.

When I changed the dates, it felt right, and I was relieved I wasn’t overstretching myself. Of course, the inquiries started rolling in to test my boundaries hours after I updated my website! When space opens up the universe will provide some other options. I just love waiting and not taking the first offer that presents. This proved beneficial as the perfect workshop that I am so excited to attend, not host, appeared. Ah ha, that is why I wasn’t feeling the love to work those dates as I’m meant to play instead. With the new training dates in place I will be fully present & ready to serve my students just as I should be.

Under the big energy of today’s moon and eclipse, we are experiencing the cleaning and cleansing effect. What is working and what is not? Having been shown the ease and grace of life when I’m experimenting with new ideas, moving forward and challenging myself to try different things it’s obvious now which old ways have to fall away. When my life became busy and overloaded, it left me physically tired, drained and headachy. These are all signs that I’m doing too much & contraction at its best.

When I Reflect back to the past few weeks when I was in flow what was different? There were big gaps in my day in which I could be creative and also rest. I still had enough paid work coming in to sustain me. My schedule did not have late nights followed by early mornings which then resulted in a wasted day sleeping it all off.

In the week where I felt contracted, scattered and flat my week was hectic. Jumping from one place to the next, late nights, early mornings and I filled my car up with fuel a record four times in one week. All the above did not feel nice, and I spent most of last weekend sleeping it off between working. It took days to recover.

This experience showed me how I can live effortlessly and when I can’t. Of course, the effortless lifestyle is so much more desirable. Now the question is for me to reflect under the dark moon tonight what can I let go off to allow for the grace to flow? I have experienced I can sustain myself to live while having big roomy blocks in my day with less travel.

Can I muster the trust and strength to make this happen? It is very scary and fear is sitting next to me. There are options I can take, and the solution is right there in front of me. I feel tonight’s moon will be a big turning point for some of us to dig deep and do things for ourselves. These moves will be life to change and a foot forward in the right direction.

Crystal Cleansing

Don’t forget your crystals will love to be outside tonight for some eclipse action. The moon is my favourite way to cleanse my crystals. The moon assists in releasing old energy & replenishing crystals with new fresh energy.

Please drink lots of fresh, filtered water, especially if you are feeling heady and ungrounded. Water is a brilliant conductor of energy as well as a life force charger for our physical body too.

Super Full Moon New Year Vibes 2018

{SUPER FULL MOON} What a significant energy boost to propel us into 2018 with Super Full Moon in cancer, 10:24 am Western Australia time. With the buzz of the New Year slowly fading we can see the opportunities ahead, and the door is wide open for you to step through. It’s been a busy few weeks wrapping, closing and finishing up what was quite the big year in 2017.

Last year stretched some of us to our uppermost limits, we had our boundaries tested, and some of us may have been bowled over by the challenge. 2017 shook out all the crap that we no longer needed to take forward into 2018. It was a big year of clearing out and starting again, did you feel this?

If this week you feel like hiding under a rock and hibernating then do so. There is indeed a good time for allowing the bubbles to settle and the waters to become still. Rest is essential; it recalibrates the system on all levels acknowledging what we have gathered and learned to filter through, so we gain nourishment from it.

I’ve felt the connection to my intuition is stronger now than ever before. I can fully trust it’s guidance and in what presents. Desires and intentions have been brought to fruition rapidly. If they were in alignment with my greater good, then the path cleared to make them a reality at super speed. I’m not saying it wasn’t without challenge. It’s freaking scary when a wisp of intention is suddenly reality without having much time to sit with it. I didn’t feel ready for it; it was just an idea. That is when trust comes in again. The door is open; things have changed effortlessly, yes there was a loss on some levels to make room but to evolve, we must move. To expand there must change, it’s a law of nature we can not avoid.

I’m finding I am getting clearer on what I do desire from my life and what can now be released. We all outgrow things, just like children continuously do, our tastes develop and our bodies heal. It’s okay to change your mind and let go of what no longer fits. It does not have to be final, you may come back to the things you put down, and they are not gone forever from your life just perhaps you are having a break from them.

Last year I experimented a great deal and used the experiences as stepping-stones. Some new ventures have stuck others assisted me in finding something more suited to my needs. I feel like the new ground has been broken & turned over. There is never one exact way to be taken, and if I’m under pressure from external influences, I use that feeling to guide me to find what is best for me. If I get pushed into a box that doesn’t fit I have the power to step right out and go searching for where I do fit, and it feels sweet for me.

Under this powerful first Super Full Moon of 2018, take time to reflect on all the achievements that have gotten you to this point today. The yang energy may be overwhelming, that is fine, rest up or if you wish to crack on then do just that. Use the fire to make a start on your next step or project.

How would you like to be feeling six months from now?

Use the last twelve months of development to assist in carving out some intentions that light you up inside. Remember to keep them safe and sacred so they can simmer & marinade peacefully until they are ready to be revealed. Sharing too soon when your ideas are still cooking may get them spat out & turned to trash. No one wants that so keep them close to your heart until the timer buzzes.

It’s a great time to sit quietly today and meditate, listen for your heart’s guidance when you are still & at peace. You may wish to make a sacred ceremony, pull some oracle cards or make an altar out in nature. Go with anything that draws you to be creative.

Don’t forget to put your crystals out for a charge up and cleanse! The first moon of the year, get into the habit now and enjoy the ritual.

Flinging into Spring at Full Moon

I hope this finds you all well in the first week of October? Depending on where you are in the world it may be Full Moon today, Thursday 5th or tomorrow Friday 6th. For me being in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s Friday at 2:40 am Perth time. I’m posting the day before so you can get your crystal kids out for a clean and charge up tonight.

Reflecting back on September I had some significant shifts. The transition of season’s, some house renovations and overloading on all things healing took its toll on me, and I got a bit sick. You are probably thinking how you can overload on healing? Trust me it’s a thing, more on this later. There’s nothing like a physical bought of illness to make you step back, slow down and reassess. All brought on with my bad habit of taking on too much at once. A few days of flu symptoms and swollen glands stopped me in my tracks.

It is amusing to look back and observe everything I was doing was from a place of love but doing it all at once had the opposite effect. What was I thinking! All my healing sessions ended up in the same week. I went from Qi Gong to health coaching to float tank to kinesiology to yoga over six days. On top of having the house turned upside down with tradespeople. I crashed. Not allowing time in between to process and assimilate was crazy now I see. It didn’t give me space to fully enjoy and embrace each session as I was in the next two days later. It was counterproductive. Lesson learned to manage my diary better and pay attention to what is already in there and turn the page. You can have too much of a good thing. Like not stopping at once slice of cake and eating the lot 😉

Here we are a month later, and on all levels, I am feeling more settled. Nothing like a bit of time in the dark and heavy to appreciate the light. Being physically sick is often nourishing as so many toxins, and staleness gets released when we are unwell.

Full Moon this cycle is in Aries (My Sun sign!), and it is spring here in Australia. I was born in spring in the northern hemisphere, and it’s my favourite season. Even though March is in autumn down under I can still connect with my Sun sign in spring six months later at this time of year when the moon is full. It may be why I have a strong Wood element, the season of spring in Traditional Chinese medicine, within my being too. Did you get your head around that one?! Nothing is linear hey 😉

I think I am trying to get at there is an equal and opposite to everything. It’s spring in one part of the world and autumn somewhere else. Even if you are reading this and you are in autumn, you can still draw in the energy of spring today under the moon energy. Spring is a chance to bring everything you were planning over winter into fruition. It’s a perfect time for big reveals and projects. If you have been working away, hibernating, quietly and privately planning your next big move now is the time to launch it. Just like a seed that pushes through the surface of the soil to sprout into life in spring, bring your projects to life now.

Especially projects that will give you personal freedom and carve your way in the world.

If you have been feeling restricted or trapped recently, have you had any thoughts on how you can break free of these shackles? Are there things in your life that are not making sense or causing confusion? Then stop trying to force a square peg into a round hole. If the door doesn’t open, break in through a window. Maybe it’s time to reassess what is working and what needs to drop.

What do you desire right now? Not in six months or a year, right in this moment. Let’s focus in on the absolute present moment. Is there something you can do today that will start the spiral of freedom in your life?

Have a ponder on this question as only you know what is best for you right now.

For some of us, we’ve had help with making the decision. At the time it could have caused distress or hurt, or there might be a great relief that we didn’t have to make the call ourselves. Cherish this and find the gold in the situation. Have you more space in your schedule to dedicate to something that will nourish you greater?

There is a lot to reflect on this month!

Crystal Cleansing

I mentioned earlier it is the perfect time to get your crystals outside for a charge up under the moon. Don’t forget to charge yourself up too. If you get a chance to be outside either Thursday or Friday night to bask in the moonlight, then please do. Putting yourself in the moonlight has the same effect as on your crystals. The moon is ideal for re-balancing and configuring. It does not matter if it is cloudy. The sun still shines, and it’s daylight on a cloudy day so the moon rays can still get through the same. It is all with the intention of receiving the moon’s energy. Just like I suggest placing your crystals on a window sill with the curtains open, the moon will still reach them, even if it’s just on an etheric level.

This weekend might be the perfect time to give you a mini-retreat. Stay home and do all the things you love to do or don’t usually set time aside to do. Think of the activities that fully recharge you. Not just the ones your yoga teacher suggests either 😉 if you don’t feel like a yang class then go to a restorative. Only you know what you need at this moment so do it! You may be called to go for a hike or a paddle down the river. Find something to do this weekend that allows you to recharge and feel energized.

Full Moon September 2017 Reflections

It does not seem like two weeks since the New Moon and Solar Eclipse, fourteen days has flown by don’t you think? Today at 3:02 pm WA time the Moon will be full in Pisces. I have a float tank session booked for the hour before, so I can wallow in some me time and soak up the healing salts. Nothing works better for grounding and balancing for me than being in or around salt water.

Reflecting back on August I just loved it! What a month, everything seemed to flow and align effortlessly. My creativity was off the scale compared to previous months. I had lot’s of fresh ideas come through for processing. The big take home from all of this is that some older projects and ideas that hadn’t quite made it to completion were ready to be put away for good. They no longer resonated with where I am at now. There is no point pushing on with something when the energy isn’t behind it. I learned a lot on the way, and some parts of the work I’d started can blend into my new endeavours.

The message here is it is okay to change your mind. My goodness the person I was four years ago would have scoffed at what I am up to now. She would be having no part of it. “Teaching 60-minute hot yoga, you have to be kidding me!” she would have yelled. “Yin Yoga, that’s just flopping around on a cushion for an hour it does nothing,” oh how I have evolved. Who knows what future me will say to me today 😉

Today’s Full Moon is showing us what is no longer in alignment with our life right now. When things become a struggle, an effort and joyless it’s time to change direction. Your new dreams may still be in the same sphere or realm just with a different take. For example I re-trained in a different yoga style. It is still yoga, and I still work at the same studios, but my offering has expanded. Many more doors have opened up for me since doing so.

I made a decision earlier this year to no longer take on new design clients. There are a couple of long standing clients I still enjoy working with, but I’d rather invest my creativity in my marketing now. There just isn’t enough space for me to serve the jobs properly whilst most importantly having room to serve myself. Working for others takes time away from my own projects. It does not mean I have quit designing altogether; it’s just changed direction.

This change of yoga style has brought me closer to a huge dream I had a long time ago. At the time I wasn’t quite there yet to pull it off completely. It would have involved bringing in outside facilitators to run the show. I’d just be a coordinator. With a few more years of growth and discovery under my belt, my vision is starting to come forward again. I am more than capable of running the idea fully myself with a little bit of support. Watch this space, there more will be a reveal in the next few months.

Have your dreams evolved and moved on since the start of the year?

This year has been huge for change and fresh starts. Be at peace with this; try not to fight against the movement. Don’t wait for a pivotal time of the year to start new projects. Start when you feel the spark. It is the best time as there is such power behind it. Take time to explore where you are at now and where you can make some shifts. These can be grand or quite small.

Just remember to keep your dreams sacred to you to start with. If you share too early other people may knock you down and dissuade you. Set them solidly in your heart first; give them firm roots so when it is time to share you won’t get pushed over. I just love having secret projects on the cook behind the scenes.

Crystal Cleansing

Don’t forget to put your crystals out for a cleanse and clear tonight. The Moon is the perfect time to clean your crystals from any stale or old energy. They get bogged down too if they are working hard. It’s okay if they are not in the direct moonlight, on a windowsill or porch is just as good. Remember it is all in the intention.

Enjoy the moon energy today. It does feel lighter and brighter now the eclipse season has passed. Also Mercury is now direct! Even more perfect for taking your plans to the next level and get things moving after three weeks of clear communications.
