What a mighty ride the energy of the past six weeks has taken us on. If there was ever a time to get clear on our lives its been now. Tomorrow’s, Saturday 17^th September, Full Moon in Pieces (3:07am WA time) and the Lunar Eclipse is the grand finale to the Eclipse season. This cycle has been a huge reset and release.

Have you felt the growth spurt over the past six weeks?

Yes I did! Going through the spin cycle over and over seems like the best way to describe what went on for me. Each cycle spun out the excess moisture to leave a fresh, dry layer underneath. The chaos, as always was followed by the calm. In between each spin the stillness that followed brought a great sense of peace and clarity. Breathing space to reap the beauty of this life and the abundance all around. Any challenging times are for our best and highest good.

The process unraveled quite elegantly even despite the choppy seas. I found less need to hold on or work against the flow. Gracefully I let go as guided. Fully trusting it would be harder to cling on, as I would eventually become exhausted so better to surrender and stay in power.

All the effort is starting to pay off. The bumpy untraveled road usually leads to somewhere new and exciting. I have noticed many synchronicities this week, signs that the diligent work has all been worth it. Sticking with my intentions and desires I’m now seeing the opportunities arise for which I’m very grateful.

Oh don’t get me wrong it’s not been entirely easy and straightforward. I have been tested just to make sure I’m committed to what I’m putting out there. Some days I wanted to jump ship ‘thinking’ the road I was on was no longer sustainable in the long run, instead of listening to my heart.

Had I become tired of living on the edge?

Only last weekend temptation arose with quite a big fat dollar sign attached to it. My qualifications and experience fitted and the location was good. It would mean giving up pretty much everything I worked so hard in building over the past three years in exchange.

What price would I pay for perceived financial security?

That is a road I am not ready to revisit at present but I did think about it. The moment I acknowledged this the ‘right’ opportunities for me started showing up. Those that are aligned with what I desire and have been working towards. Opportunities that make my heart sing.

It still amazes me when the universe plays this devils advocate. “Can I tempt you today?” Dangling the golden carrot that might spark an interest. The carrot is usually linked in with our fear patterns and learning cycles. For me it’s usually the money test. The universe has our best interests at heart. We are alway given options to keep going or change direction. Either way there will be something to get out of it.

Coming back to the fear side however. It would be fine to go with the more financially fuelled route as long as it wasn’t chosen out of fear. If the passion and the love for what was on offer was the driving force to change direction then awesome. The extra financial benefits would be the icing on the cake. If fear was controlling the decision I feel the experience would fall short and another direction change would be needed sooner rather than later.

Personal power is super charged that is why we are more than likely making well informed and heart lead choices. Not giving into the fear based temptations. There is a brand new doorway opening in front of us.

Are you drawn to step through it?

Our Solar Plexus Chakra’s are literally on fire. Keeping us strong in our centre so we can connect with our inner guide, our Soul. For Soul has the blue print to our agreed life path. Listening, trusting and taking action on this guidance will bring in so much love and joy. Loving the life we live.

Following Saturday’s cosmic conclusion to this magnificent (and head exploding at times) Eclipse season I think we all deserve a breather. Vibrations have been raised. After the shake-ups we’ve come out higher each time. I’m feeling the energy will lighten up and we can embrace how well we’ve done. Remember to always give thanks for everything we have received. The attitude of gratitude does go a long way.

Heads up enjoy the rest as next week we’ll be off again for Equinox and the end of Mercury Retro 😉

Big Shifts in September

What a weekend hey? Who rode the huge cosmic wave that whooshed over us the past four days? The whole month of September I’ve felt the energy start to build. It’s been huge.

Reflecting back over the past month I can see how the slow start to September was gifted to me in preparation for this weekend. The first two weeks were all about me, taking care of myself, clearing out, making plans & having my own healing sessions.

Mercury went into retrograde seventeen days in. I felt confident I had done my work during the pre-shadow period carefully observing what was coming up for me. Watching what I say & how I communicate took centre stage. My world became very ‘on a need to know basis.’

This has been very interesting to observe. I was keeping my personal goings on close to my chest, only sharing when necessary to a select few. There are projects & plans I wish to keep sacred, just for now, only for me until the retro is over. Everything is so up for change, another lesson during Mercury, I really wish to let my seeds grow privately.

I could see others doing the same, keeping things close but sharing with a few. This helps builds the strength around a project & gives us all time to get excited too before it goes viral. It’s such a special time in the early stages of a project keeping it sacred, just like a pregnancy. Allowing it time to grown & gather strength.

It’s crazy though when word does get out how quickly it can escalate. That’s the power of Mercury behind communications. It invites us to check in with what we are saying. Are we sharing for the greater good or is it gossip? Stop & think before you speak. Is it your news to share?

The past eleven days have been high speed with plenty of ups & downs. My physical body was definitely going through some shifts energetically that were showing up in aching muscles, mood swings, poor food choices & disrupted sleep.

In my yoga practice I was just miserable as I literally dragged myself through each posture. Every muscle hurt, my lungs felt like they couldn’t take in enough air & it felt like a black cloud was raining down on me. It was all good though. I didn’t attach to what was happening I accepted the physical challenges were doing what they were supposed to. Shifting & clearing.

The pace certainly picked up again after Equinox on Wednesday 23^rd September. Meditating out in the garden under a beautiful blue sky was divine. It was the perfect time to conduct a sacred ceremony to see in the new cycle. Cleansing my house with Illuminator incense from Resonant Aromatics, giving myself an oracle card reading & of course playing my crystal-singing bowl.

I found myself out & about in many social situations following Equinox & it was tapping me out. My focus was all over the place, jumping from one conversation to the next, feeling jittery on par with a coffee overload. Was I getting ADHA?! Time to pull back & slow it down. These were signs I needed to be in my own space. My body was already reacting stepping in to help pull me up with digestive issues, migraine symptoms & lethargy. I changed my weekend plans to reduce overload & some well needed universal assistance presented just at the right time to help further. Thank you xx

Time to rest.

With two full days away from my yoga teaching duties I was able to be at home putting my focus into areas I have been neglecting.

Bringing back the balance.

The juicer was dusted down & put to work. What I needed most is good nutrition to help ease the digestive up sets & shift through what needs to be cleared. I find juicing an easy way to get what I need in me quickly.

My water intake has been crazy. I can’t get enough magnesium-salted water at the moment. The more I drink the better I start to feel, again a great energetic flushing tool as well as a physical one. Listening to my body & giving it what it is asking for is working.

Getting some major meditation in was top priority too. Stillness to connect & feel into what is going on was required. On Friday & Saturday I let my Sadhana slip right when I needed it the most.

Not pushing too hard is something I struggle with. Especially the sacred days I have all day at home to focus on writing & creating. Acknowledging when I need to rest is important. If the couch is calling then I need to honour that & I have been. There’s no point plugging away on a creative project when really I should be resting up. Gathering strength & focus so I’m pumped up & back on form. (I watched ‘Indecent Proposal’ on Saturday what a classic old movie!)

Taking time out for a day is serving me well. With the Super Full Moon & total Solar Eclipse it’s been the best time for stepping out of the mainstream. Writing this on Monday afternoon I’m feeling so much better. I’m out the other side of my big shift focused & on form. The recent planetary activity & solar flares are giving me energy now I have cared for myself.

Ocean Cleansing Ritual

What a huge energetic weekend we have just experienced with the Winter (or Summer) Solstice. Some people might have felt a touch flat over the past week, getting sick & clearing out. Others more energized than ever, I certainly was! I’m feeling strong, centred & energized. However I did hit a low before the high…

The energetic build up for Solstice started for me around the 11^th & 12^th June just as Mercury went direct. When I am are about to go through a vibrational upgrade energetically I start to feel physical symptoms like lethargy, headache, pains & general grumpiness. It’s a good time to check in with planetary activity too to see if there is a connection. More often than not there is.

When these symptoms or ‘energetic flu’ show up I know it’s time to take it easy (back off & hibernate), be kind to myself & tune into my Soul for some advice. I was guided to do some extra personal work by ramping up my self-care routine. Heal, cleanse & reconnect. With the lessons I learned & took action on from my Mercury Retrograde theme I needed a time out to process.

One self-care routine I’d like to share with you all today is my Ocean Cleansing Ritual.

You can’t beat the ocean energy

Salt water is one of the best ways to assist in cleansing & healing your body. You don’t have to be fully submerged either, just standing in the shallows works just as well. Being bare foot in contact with the earth is very grounding, especially if you have been feeling detached from your bodies. Digging your feet into the wet sand connects you back with Mother Nature & the earth’s vibration.

Here’s what I like to do:

Set my intention: Before connecting with the ocean I decide what it is I’d like to achieve from the ritual. It could be to cleanse away any dense energy/emotions that no longer serve or release past situations that are holding me back or simply to feel grounded & at one.

Say an affirmation: Once you have set your intention put it into an affirmation. For example “Thank you divine Mother Earth & the cleansing ocean to wash away & heal any old stale energy from my being that no longer serves me.” Say your affirmation out loud or in your mind as you step into the sea. Repeat your affirmation as many times as you wish during your ceremony.

Breathe: Take long slow deep belly breaths exhaling with noise for the same, if not longer time. I like to inhale as the water rushes forward, then exhales as the wave retreats. I visualize the water & the breath carrying what I no longer need. Trusting what is let go of is being sent to a better place for recycling by the earth spirits.

Connect: This is the perfect time to tune in with your Soul. Still your mind, disconnect from the chatter & just be. Sink into your heart space, connect, ask questions & listen for guidance.

Move: Movement is a great way to help shift stagnant energy. If your not game enough to take a swim splash around in the water with your feet. Walk up & down the beach on the waters edge. Or back & forth playing chase with the waves.

Take your time: Spend as long as you need during this process. Allow your intuition to guide you as to how long you spend in your cleansing ritual. If you feel drawn sit a while on a rock. You’ll know when the time is right to finish up. For me it’s a sense of lightness, grounding & joy.

Find a good rock & sit a while with you feet buried in the sand

Gratitude: Once your sacred time is coming to a close give thanks to Mother Earth & all beings of the light that have assisted you in your cleansing process. You may wish to bring you hands into prayer position or bow in acknowledgement for the healing you have received. A simple whispered ‘thank you’ is enough too.

I hope you have enjoyed reading about my Ocean Cleansing Ritual. Don’t worry if you live nowhere near the coast. Kicking back with a salt-water foot soak or fully relaxing Epsom salt bath is just as good.

Hiding away will cause me to stray

“I can’t see the wood for the trees.”

This is one of my favourite sayings. Especially when there is so much going on around me, I often miss some very obvious messages that are right under my nose.

Why is it so easy to miss the obvious?

It’s very human of us to over complicate matters. Especially when life’s workload starts to increase over thinking kicks in. We let our minds go into over drive & get too analytical. That’s when stress, confusion & indecision can block out the clear signs. We miss the simple, straightforward solution (the obvious) that will allow us to get everything done smoothly & organically.

Hold on did I say there is a simple solution to everything?

Yes I did.

Where do I find this simple solution that is ‘so obvious’?

Right inside our heart or ‘Soul!’ The part of us called ‘Soul’ is all knowing. Soul has been around for many, many lifetimes. All these life experiences are kept in our Soul library. Soul uses this knowledge to help guide us. Soul is our tutor within.

When the doubt & busy thinking takes over & ‘we can’t see the wood for the trees’ that is when we need to slow down & connect with our Soul. The simple solutions come in soft whispers. If we sit in stillness & quiet the busy mind we will hear our messages more clearly.

What have I been missing of late?

Right now I’m feeling things are shifting for me. Life needs to get uncomfortable to keep me on my toes. We’re nearly half way through 2014 & it’s time for a check in with the desires I set at the start of the year. I’ve been cruising along playing it safe. In order to progress further down the track of my desire map it’s time to get very uncomfortable indeed!

The post I wrote here about the channelled message I received from the intuitive art piece gave me a big nudge as to where I need to be going next. Digging deep into my heart Chakra to reconnect with why I’m here & what I need to focus on next. I know just what that is but I’m resisting it!

The problem I’m having is this:

I acknowledge I have my own unique gifts to share with the world, these need to be revealed but I’m freaking scared to let them rip! To finally do things my way, speak out from within, and set free the voice that wants to speak is a huge step. Why? Because I’ve let her out before & I received a huge backlash of hate. Once bitten, twice shy. Isn’t it easier to just play it safe & do what everyone else is doing? Follow suit with the tried & tested method. Be one of the crowd.

I need to be doing things MY WAY. I’ve been looking externally for inspiration, instead of using the totally original source within. To just copy someone elses idea & put my logo on it is not authentic. Sure I can be inspired by others genius then find my ‘own’ way of doing things. If I don’t it will fail, as it won’t be my creative baby.

What I need to do is step away from the external & go straight to my source (Soul) & work from there. Asking my inner tutor for help & inspiration on how I can make my mark by letting my true light shine. Going forward if I create from my heart authentically I will get to where I need to be simply & easily. Wasting time copying others will slow me down. Eventually I will have to come back to what is best for me so why not do it straight off the bat.

In last weeks post I talked openly on the subject of channelling & automatic writing. This might have been the first time some of you have heard about this. It’s a new subject for me to be open about too. In a public speaking event I presented recently I spoke about psychic ability & connecting with the invisible realms. It felt great! Everything flowed & I was well received. I’ve been holding back till now, as I haven’t felt comfortable sharing this openly because of comments like these:

“What a bunch of boll***s”
“You shouldn’t say things like that people will think you’re weird & they won’t want to be associated with you.”
“I can’t believe people actually pay money for this.”
“You’re on a one way ticket to Graylands!” (The state mental health unit.)

Yes all the above are real life conversations I’ve had. It hurts. That is why I shut down being too open on my blog. What started as a free space for me to be me has gone a bit off track as I’ve been holding back.

I know deep down how others perceive me is their own business not mine. The haters & resistance are actually a BRILLIANT indication! I need to embrace them as they are showing me I’m going the right way. It’s nature’s law to have an opposite reaction to every action. To fly forward there must be a pull back. However it has been my greatest struggle not to attach to what I perceive as a negative comment.

I have a great network of like-minded friends who support me. If the mainstream think I’m kooky, then that’s just lovely! My blog is not aimed at the mainstream. This is my space to be as ‘woo woo’ as I like.I should not be restraining my flow in here. The more I hide away the more I will stray from the direction I should be going. Then it will all get too hard & a struggle. Who wants that?

It’s time to come out of hiding even more. Really release the beast. Let my light shine & show others they shouldn’t be afraid too either in their own unique way.

I’ve come up with an ‘action’ plan to assist me to feel comfortable in ‘coming out’ the spiritual closet even more. To feel safe & comfortable with who I am is key for this process. It’s okay to be me.

Action Plan May 2014:

Meditation:
Firstly I need to heal any past hurts related to speaking my truth. I have a number of different guided meditations to assist me:

Each meditation is a powerful tool to take me inward with practical steps for healing & letting go of that, which has hurt me.

Alchemical Oils:

I’ve been working with these six Scared Self oils particularly closely in order to open up my heart & honour the true Soul within. (For more on how alchemical oils work check out this post)

Authentic – “I reveal my true self”
Trust – “I trust myself”
Receive – “I appreciate & acknowledge all of me”
Integrity – “I honour my commitments to myself”
Radiance – “I let my inner beauty shine”

Crystals:

I’m using some very gentle & loving vibration crystals for this process. A softer energy is needed. This healing needs to be long term so I’m prepared to take it slow in order for the results to stick. No flying in like a bull in a China shop & face overload.

Rose Quartz – the crystal of self-love. Very gentle, yet powerful. Opens the heart up for unconditional love. Perfect for giving & receiving. A calming & reassuring stone for deep inner healing.
Strawberry Quartz – Grounding & nurturing. Balances the heart & base Chakras. Brings in much earth element energy.
Fuchsite – Assists in understanding other people & their viewpoints. Teaches true self-worth. Another crystal that works well for heart Chakra healing.

Healing Sessions:

It’s a no brainer for me to receive healing sessions for this situation. It’s just as much part of my job to receive healing as well as to give healing. It’s how I walk my talk! Energetic healing can assist in shifting stale energies, blocked emotions & balances the Chakras. If anything an hour on the healing table is the prefect way to relax & unwind. Here’s what I’ve been receiving recently:

Self-healing with sound – these sessions I initiate myself with a range of different sound tracks. My favourite at the moment is the Crystal Keys by Lia Scallon. It’s during these sessions & guided mediation I use my oils, crystals & coloured chakra silks.

Journaling:

Keeping written notes about the challenges I face & how I over come them is so important. To look back in old journals too see how far I have come & the stories I have written is very empowering. It’s easy to forget things when we are caught up in the moment. Journaling is a great reminder. It’s very therapeutic to put our thoughts into words. Sometimes once a situation has been committed to paper you can look at it from a different angle. Often it doesn’t seem so bad once we’ve got it off our chests.

This plan has been well under way now for a week. I’m feeling a lot more centred, confident & focused. It’s back to the drawing board & the blog planner now to get some ideas of how to move forward with my posts. I can feel the excitement bubbling up inside…. Time to get super woo woo!
