October Intentions

It doesn’t seem five minutes since the last time Mercury was in Retrograde. Three months to be precise. Over the past few years I have learned to embrace Mercury Retrograde thanks to my Soul mentor Elizabeth Peru. Elizabeth reports positively about how Mercury assists us in clearing out what no longer serves us in life. It’s a GREAT time to hone your focus back onto yourself & allow your voice to be heard. There is nothing to fear about Mercury in retrograde.

There are a few key characteristics though we should all be aware of during this period. Communication is strongly themed at this time. Devices used for communicating can get disrupted & may go a tad squiffy. Mercury loves to wreak havoc with electrical equipment. Don’t be surprised if your phone plays up or your computer keeps crashing. Make sure all your files are backed up! Take this time to actually disconnect from the ‘online’ world & start a conversation with you Soul.

Discovering your own personal truth will serve you well. We are all well supported right now by the universe to get down to the gritty details of who we really are. Over the past few months I have felt a huge push to get clear on what I want & where I’d like to be going based on my Soul truth. No more playing it safe & staying within the boundaries that are so limiting. Start to trust what your intuition is telling you & take action by following what you are told.

It’s also a good time to be free, easy & non-committal. Again loosen up if you’re usually quite strict. Avoid locking in long-term contracts. Everything is under review when Mercury is in Retro. Travel plans can easily change to so avoid making any grand plans. Especially if you are making decisions that are not in your best interests, the universe will help you realise this. Other fantastic opportunities you don’t know about yet may well be right around the corner. If you do plan to travel maybe keep it open ended.

My favourite part of Mercury Retrograde is the intention setting followed by the clear out & action phase. We are just ending the pre-shadow period that started on Sunday 14^th September till Friday 3^rd October. These three weeks held the theme on what we each need to work on for the coming retrograde. Think back over the past weeks. Were there recurring messages coming through trying to grab your attention? They may have presented in different ways but still had the same key essence. These recurring messages will be the base of what you need to work on from Saturday 4^th till Saturday 15^th October.

The theme that was hitting me in the face is very much based around career direction & where I wish to focus my business next year. I’ve had a grand two months living in a different state being surrounded by new influences & inspiration. The Spring Equinox was awesome for me. It gave me a real boost of positive energy & a great big shove in the right direction. It left me feeling empowered & strong enough to tackle any challenges ahead.

Stepping away from my ‘every-day’ life has revealed what hasn’t been serving me back home in the way I’ve run my business. Being away from home I could see everything from a different perspective. Nothing was too close, it was actually really far away, and details can easily missed if you’re in too close. It’s time for a stock check & a tidy up.

This experience has also shown me what I am capable of achieving using processes I wouldn’t usually have used. Discovering the new. My old ways were not serving me any longer; I’d outgrown them. I’ve had a huge eye opener to what works well for me to achieve maximum output with minimal input. By simply trusting, not pushing too hard & holding my intentions for manifestation strongly from within. How nice is that?

Another part of my theme has been to own my own worth. Standing firm on equal exchanges & not under valuing my skills. In the past I have been notorious for working my butt off by going above & beyond for a return that was not equal. This leaves me feeling under appreciated & doubting my skills aren’t worth it. Even though my Soul is screaming at me to tune in so she can tell me I’m more than worth it. This is a recurring one for me & I feel it will keep coming up the more I grow & expand. My worth will increase as I increase from within.

My theme therefore over the next three weeks will be focused around streamlining my business activity, owning my worth & implementing firmly the new processes I have discovered. It all comes back to my main 2014 theme of ‘simplicity.’ Now it’s action-taking time! No holding back & running away from the challenges when they present. I’m clear on what I need to do.

The major challenge for me will be when I return home just after Retrograde ends. It may be easy to fall back into old habits once I’m back on home soil forgetting everything I’ve learned. I’m confident that new habits will be formed over the 21 days retrograde period. By the time I return home I’m hopeful these habits will be strongly implemented enough that I won’t waiver & undo all the good work.

Let’s wait & see what unfolds. I trust everything will work out the way it should & for my best intentions. It will certainly be a pilgrimage, journeing further down the amazing pathway of life.

Receiving External Guidance

New Year, new start is always a popular theme for January. For me I’ve been setting intentions for what I’d like to achieve this year. Of course I am (as we all are) at the mercy of the Universe so you never quite know how the result of your manifesting will present. However the ball needs to be set rolling.

At the start of the year I had so many ideas flying around as to where I wish to take my business this year I came to the point I called out for some extra help. I needed to get out of my own way in order to clearly hear what I was being guided to do next from within myself. It sometimes takes the guidance of another to gently bring you back to the present moment. This is just what I needed.

Through a number of synchronicities the external guidance I was requiring presented. If a pattern suddenly starts to develop around a subject I start to pay attention.

The synchronicities that day lead me to have an Intuitive Guidance & Distance Energy Reading session from Michelle of Sacred Self. I use Sacred Self Alchemical oils in my healing sessions & for my own personal self-cleansing routine. They are truly divine. At a time when I felt I needed someone on the outside to look in & assist me gain some clarity this was my opportunity. It felt so natural & a healing session with Michelle was just what I needed.

It didn’t disappoint. My personally made mandala is stunning. (There are examples on Michelle’s site & FB) It’s full of crystals, oils, cards & mantras. I’ve printed it out & have it right in front of me now. The written report that accompanied it was so accurate & spot on. Every single thing mentioned was confirmation for me to jump & take action. There were ideas I’d thought of months ago but tucked away as insignificant or I let fear or other people’s views stop me following through.

As I was reading I kept saying ‘wow’ Michelle’s good. It might seem strange to hear this but all the information I received wasn’t new or a surprise. “What’s the point then if you were told what you already knew?” I hear you shout. As I said above I was in my own way, too wrapped up to take a step back & listen to the voice within me. That’s when we turn to others for guidance. It sometimes takes an outsider to clearly spell things out to you. Even the most conscious & intuitive beings are always learning.

My intention with the session was to find out the exact area in my life I need to be focusing on this year. I found out just that, not by it being told to me directly “you must do this” but with the ‘clues’ Michelle provided for me to figure it out for myself. It was up to me to then take what was in front of me & apply to my life. be responsible. The greatest gift anyone can receive.

The best part was Michelle provided practical tools to work with for the next few months. Questions to ask myself, meditations to listen too & of course which Alchemical oils would best serve me to move forward.

Grace was perfect for me as the words on the bottle are ‘get out of your own way.’ A really relaxing blend of geranium, sweet orange & lime.

Surrender was my second oil with the strong message to allow myself to feel all feelings. This is a common theme for me right now too to really ‘feel’ what is going on. This is a blend of my two favourite scents Frankincense & Myrrh as well as the very clearing eucalyptus.

I also chose too more oils for myself Clarity & Abundance. Staying clear & open to receive is something I am working on also.

I meditated as suggested with my mandala for an hour each day for three days. It was a very powerful & opening experience. It was just what I needed to assist me onto the next level of progression.

New Year, New Ideas

How are we all doing seven days into the New Year? I feel the pace is already a lot slower than last year. Inspiration is flooding through for many. It is for me for sure. Once minute I’m sitting quietly then the heavens literally open & wham idea central hits.

If you have some hot ideas get them written down so you don’t forget them. Committing ideas to paper then holds you responsible to act on them. Keep referring to your ideas book & be inspired to make them a reality.

My suggestion also is to keep these gems sacred for a while. Jumping too quickly & rushing to share your plans can easily cause a derail. Especially if the people you share with react negatively. It might put you off ever getting them started.

Just like growing a plant from a seed. Here’s an easy process to follow.

Put the seed in the earth – get your idea on paper
Let the seed sit & settle – meditate with your ideas, visualise your plans already happening, imagine you are living the idea already
Nurture – Feed your idea, add water i.e. do research; gather all the extra information you need to get the plan started.
Watch it grow – start the ball rolling & take action, make your idea a reality in what ever way you need to.
Bask in the beauty you have created as your idea (or plant) is flourishing.
Ongoing care – Don’t stop now, we are here to evolve. Move your idea onto the next stage.

When your plan or idea is in full fruition then is the time to share. Once you are living it & believing in it then nothing will sway you. Even if others rock your boat this is a great sign of positive resistance. It shows you are moving forward & the equal & opposite force is appearing as a pull back. Keep going! You will be strong enough & the idea cemented to use the resistance to push your idea further forward.

This is the point when if you require others assistance it’s the time to ask. Your seed is set & growing strongly. If you go to others too early with nothing to show they might not wish to invest their precious time in helping you. If haven’t made your idea your own & put your stamp on it, someone you go to for assistance might see some gold in your idea & make it ‘his or her own.’ Think Facebook.

You have taken action; you are the leader in your project. If you have done your work it will show & others will be more inclined to follow your lead. On the other side of the coin if you have any self-doubt this may well be mirrored back to you from others. To reduce this own what you say & the doubt will melt away. If you’re excited then others will get excited too & want to be part of what you have created.

Celebrate! Reward yourself for a job well done. If it’s a new business venture or personal achievement you’ve just brought to light congratulate yourself. Every goal should be acknowledged. Your reward can be something quite small or as large as you like.

The Big Clear out has begun

Monday this week saw Mercury go into Retrograde. It will stay this way till 10^th November. What does that mean for us? It can be a mix up period where we receive strong messages on what is good for us in our life. Retrogrades are all about clear communication. They assist us to speak out our truth & get things clear. It’s a great period & nothing to be afraid of.

The weeks leading up to retro I found I was clearing out my physically space without even realising it. What started as a quick vacuum in my healing room turned into a major overhaul. There was so much rubbish lurking in my drawers. Things I was holding on too ‘just in case.’ I filled bags with stuff that really didn’t need to be there. I created so much space I actually ended up moving a whole three-drawer unit out to another room.

The rest of the house got a good going over too. Couches we’d been given that had been sat in the shed for weeks finally made their way inside. Furniture was rearranged into different spots that gave the space a whole new feel.

Three weeks before the Mercury Retrograde is the time our theme for this period comes to light. It’s like setting an intention, what needs to be worked on. We’re asked to take note of recurring themes or situation in this time. If similar issues are presenting to you over & over this will form the basis of our Retro theme. For me it is very clear I need to learn to let go.

I’ve mentioned this before in other posts. I need to clear out old energy and not be holding onto things that no longer serve. I’ve worked on this lesson before. I will keep working on it till I close the loop for good. Letting situations wash through me & not holding onto that energy, old and new.

When something comes up & it bugs me I need to deal straight away. Acknowledge why it has caused a reaction in me, see it from the other side of the mirror & then take action. Understanding from both sides of the coin is very important. If a person is involved standing in their shoes for a while assists in bringing clarity. If I need to speak up & say I disagree with the situation, as it is not in my best interest then I will. In some cases it’s just my head taking over & once I listen to my heart for guidance I can understand fully why it was presented.

Most importantly I shall not hold on. I will let things wash through me like water in a stream. That way I stay focused on the present moment & above all clear of dense energy. Children are so good at this. We can learn a lot from them. Every day is so new & exciting, what happened yesterday has gone, they move on.

Here in the Southern Hemisphere it’s spring. What a great time to get things started. Planting our seeds for the next six months or so. This period is amazing for making plans and getting the ball rolling. Living too our best every day. Why wait? What we start now we will see come into bloom in a few months time.

Don’t get too hung up on details though. The universe has a great way of delivering what is good for us in a way we might not recognise at first. An Angel Tarot card springs to mind here, The Five of Water. Three cups are spilled over in the image but two are full. Crying over spilt milk. Focusing on the spilt cups, the negative, means you may miss the two full cups that are right there too, full of opportunity.

The energy this week is fast. Things are moving & changing rapidly. This is a great test for those ‘A Types’ that love to be in control, as they will be tested. It’s time to flow & go with it. During this period details are not set in stone. It’s a great time to experiment with an idea without being locked in tight. Be prepared for chops & changes…
